Job Title: Welder

Location: Telford

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

Hours of Work / Shift:

• Day Shift:
  • Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM start
  • Friday: Early finish!
• Night Shift (Optional):
  • 4 on / 4 off

Type: Temp/ Perm Job Start Date: Immediately

We are hiring for a Welder to undertake welding and fabrication duties in Telford. This is a well-established manufacturing environment with a strong team culture, and you will be an important part of the production team helping to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and to a high quality standard.

Duties of a Welder

• Carrying out welding duties to a high standard
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety requirements
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Skills and Experience of a Welder

• Previous welding experience
• Working accurately to drawings and specifications

It would be beneficial to the Welder role if you also had:

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal English
• Access to reliable transport (site accessible via car)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• A reliable and flexible approach to work

Shift Allowance (Night Shift)

• Night shifts available on a 4 on / 4 off pattern
• Premium rate of 1.3x after 22:00 PM
• This equates to two hours of free pay per night
