MIG Welder

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £15-17ph per hour (DOE) + Overtime

Hours: Full-time, days only

12 weeks Temporary-Permanent

We're looking for a skilled MIG Welder to join a growing team! This is a hands‑on position where you'll be fabricating, assembling, and welding components to high standards for a range of industrial and commercial projects.

You’ll work as part of a supportive and experienced workshop team, producing high‑quality welds and ensuring all work meets company and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG welding on mild and stainless steel components
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical blueprints
  • Prepare, measure, and cut materials to specification
  • Conduct quality checks to maintain excellent workmanship
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace in line with H&S procedures
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a MIG Welder / Fabricator
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
  • Relevant welding or fabrication qualifications (preferred, not essential)
