Job Title:MIG Welder / Fabricator
Location:LS11, Leeds
Salary:£15.00 – £16.50 per hour (DOE)
Contract Type:Permanent, full-time
Overtime:Available as and when required, paid at enhanced rates

Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing manufacturer based in LS11, Leeds.This is a permanent opportunity for a skilled MIG Welder / Fabricator to join a close-knit engineering team working on high-quality steel fabrications and custom container conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out MIG welding on mild and structural steel fabrications
  • Read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings
  • Measure, cut, drill, and assemble components to specification
  • Ensure all welds meet internal and visual inspection standards
  • Operate hand tools, cutting and grinding equipment safely and efficiently
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and productive working environment

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in MIG welding and general steel fabrication
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings and technical instructions
  • Reliable and professional approach to work
  • Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
  • FLT licence desirable but not essential
