Job Description

A new and unique opportunity to join the Portico family has become available.

Portico has 2 teams based at one of the most iconic buildings in London. One team is situated at the main entrance as a ground floor front of house operation. The other is based at the entrance to a restaurant and viewing platform on the 35th Floor.

We are on the lookout for a Welcome Host with the flexibility and adaptability to work between both teams!

The role of the Welcome Host in both teams is to ensure that the highest level of customer care and personal service is provided to all who access the space. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing impeccable service and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team. The warm welcome from our team determines the first impressions that our visitors have of our clients’ premises.

Hours: 40 hours (on a shift basis to cover a 7-day operation including Bank Holidays, Monday-Friday 09:00-18:00 and Saturday/Sunday 10:00-21:00)

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who stand out from the crowd with the very best skills in customer service, to help maintain our 5* standards when interacting with the public. Excellent personal presentation with a genuine smile goes a long way in customer service, so we will be expecting someone who enjoys engaging in conversation and easily develops rapport with others.
