Weighbridge Operator

7 Steel UK Cardiff

£26,250

12 hour shifts, (4 on / 4 off Shifts)

2 days 6am -6pm & 2 nights 6pm to 6am

As a weighbridge operative, you'll be the main contact for our site logistics, responsible for weighing vehicles, verifying load weights, issuing the correct documentation, and keeping accurate records. Safety is our number one priority; you'll also ensure that drivers follow our site rules, wear the correct PPE, and be comfortable to address issues when needed.

Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll liaise between delivery drivers and internal colleagues. You'll also be confident with IT in order to keep our records and documentation up-to-date and accurate.

You'll be joining the UKs largest producer of reinforcing steel and one of the biggest metal recyclers, transforming scrap into new steel products. We're committed to the circular economy and progressing on our decarbonisation journey.
