Job summary

A professional recruitment agency is looking for experienced Night Care Assistants in Nottingham to join a nursing home team. You will provide high-quality care for residents with dementia and other needs, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being during the night shift. Working hours will be from 10 PM to 7 AM, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £12.75 per hour, plus holiday pay.

Overview

Immediate starts available – Night Care Assistants wanted for cover!! We are looking for experienced night care assistants to help our clients in the Nottingham, NG14 area. As part of a professional, successful team, you will be working in one of our client's nursing home environments caring for residents with dementia and other age-related issues. You will be supporting individuals physical and mental well-being by providing high levels of care as part of their nightly routines. Using your knowledge and experience you will help the residents with their nightly routines, always providing a care centred approach. You will be expected to work alongside the friendly, established team of Carers and Nurses assisting them with the smooth running of the nightly activities.

Qualifications
  • You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
  • Have a checkable work history
  • Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. If you do not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
  • Have an in date enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one

Details

This is an ongoing opportunity. Your typical hours will start at 22.00 and finish at 07.00 the next morning. Monday to Friday. You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.75 per hour, plus up to 28 days accrued holiday pay
