Job Description

The Web Project Manager plays a key role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of web-related projects that enhance the institution's digital presence and user experience. This is a hands‑on role, actively involved in creating, editing, and publishing web pages and landing pages, leading the site's information architecture, and ensuring best practices in SEO and GEO implementation. Working closely with cross‑functional teams across Marketing, IT, Design, and Content, this role ensures projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end‑to‑end management of web projects, from scoping and requirements gathering to launch and post‑launch optimization.
  • Create, edit, and publish web pages and landing pages within the StoryBlok CMS, maintaining quality and consistency across the site.
  • Take a lead role in shaping and maintaining the site's information architecture for optimal usability and discoverability.
  • Ensure all digital content and web pages follow SEO and GEO best practices.
  • Monitor website performance metrics, including conversion rates, traffic trends, and engagement KPIs, providing actionable insights to improve outcomes.
  • Track and analyze data through tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console to optimize visibility and search performance.
  • Collaborate with Brand Experience Managers overseeing our programs, as well as other key internal stakeholders.
  • Manage timelines and resource allocation, ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams and external vendors (if applicable).
  • Ensure digital assets adhere to brand, UX/UI, and accessibility standards.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, providing clear communication and mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting for all project phases.
  • Support the continuous improvement of web systems and processes, leveraging analytics and user feedback.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience (5‑7 years) in web or digital project management, preferably within higher education or a global brand environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with web content management, including editing and publishing within CMS platforms (e.g., StoryBlok, WordPress).
  • Strong understanding of web development processes, UX and digital design collaboration, and digital ecosystems.
  • Experience working closely with UX and Digital Designers.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello) and agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with SEO, analytics, UX principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and Google Search Console.
  • Ability to translate technical details into clear business terms for non‑technical stakeholders.
