  • Experience as a Service Chemist/Engineer for a Water Treatment company.
  • Experience with closed systems, cooling towers, and steam boilers.
  • Well-versed in technical guidelines including HSG 274 & ACOP L8.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sampling & analysis of process systems.
  • Correctly dose systems in accordance with industry standards.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with clients.
  • Upsell further company services to grow client accounts.
  • Provide technical advice to clients and answer queries.

Salary & Benefits

£27k – £45k + training and benefits, overtime opportunities, pension.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Worked as a Service Chemist / Engineer for a Water Treatment company.
  • Experience undertaking sampling, analysis and dosing on closed systems, cooling towers and steam boilers.
  • Hold a degree in Chemistry or Science is beneficial but not essential.
  • Well-versed in technical guidelines, including HSG 274 & ACOP L8.
  • Excellent written & IT proficiency.
  • Strong client-facing skills and professional manner.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct sampling & analysis of process systems across a mixed portfolio of client sites.
  • Correctly dose systems in accordance with industry standards.
  • Maintain highly effective and professional working relationships with clients.
  • Grow client accounts through upselling of further company services.
  • Keep updated with industry changes.
  • Provide technical advice to clients and answer any queries.
  • Write bespoke service reports for clients.
  • Train new members of staff.
  • Travel to client sites as required.
