Job Title: Water Treatment Remedial Plumber
Location: Tamworth, West Midlands
Salary / Package: £25k – £38k + Company Vehicle

Innovative Water Treatment Company, with a growing national presence, are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber to cover contracts across the West Midlands region. Candidates will hold experience working for an established water treatment company and will be able to demonstrate a god technical understanding of hot and cold water systems and associated legionella risk. Applicant must hold a recognised plumbing qualification (ideally level 2 or higher). On top of a competitive salary, the client can offer door to door travel time rates and optional over time, given the successful candidate the opportunity to earn significantly on top of their basic salary.

Consideration will be given to candidates based in the West Midlands / Staffordshire area, good locations will include; Birmingham, Dudley, Stourbridge, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Tamworth, Lichfield, Stafford, Stone, Stoke-on-Trent, Telford, Halesowen, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Kidderminster, Coventry.

Requirements

• Recognised Plumbing qualification (level 2 or above).
• Unvented ticket (desirable)
• Experience working for a water treatment company either as an engineer or plumber.
• Good working knowledge of both hot and cold water systems.
• Understanding ACoP L8 and legionella compliance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Cylinder servicing and installations.
• Installations of expansion vessels.
• Installation of pipework.
• Dead leg removal and pipework modifications.
• CWST installations and refurbishments.
• Legionella monitoring (sampling / temperature monitoring).
• Cleans and disinfections of domestic hot and cold water systems.
• Showerhead descales.
• TMV servicing and installations.
• Mains injection disinfections.
• Removing of flexible hoses and hard piping taps.
