Due to on‑growth and current business requirement, this highly successful and dynamic water treatment company with a good turnover and presence is actively seeking the services of a high calibre, self‑driven, commercially focused Water Treatment Accounts/Operations Manager based in the South Central area and will include applications from Slough, Harrow, Reading and the surrounding areas.

Ideally, the applicant must come from a good chemical, technical operational, accounts, sales, contracts, supervisory, and office and management background. Must have good formal education background. An in-depth knowledge of the water treatment industry and the Health & Safety procedures and legislation, holding a certificate in Health & Safety would be beneficial. Must have good organisational, people management, client‑facing, interpersonal and leadership skills. Must have hands on experience on water treatment/water hygiene services. Experience in managing projects and contracts. Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety Legislation – water treatment/water hygiene.

Key Role
  • Majority of the work is office based and rest will be managing staff on site as and when required.
  • Liaising with top management and clients.
  • Planning and scheduling of works as per company’s contracts.
  • Allocation of jobs.
  • Delivering services from start to completion.
  • Ensuring that all that all work/contract is carried out according to procedures and plan.
  • Ensuring that the site staff delivers services effectively and within timeline.
  • Getting involved with the Technical team – developing and maintaining the operational procedures and adhering to the Health & Safety procedures with regards to delivering services.
  • Running contracts and coordinating – providing quotations and tenders to the highest level.
  • Entering information with regards to jobs to be carried out for the clients on database.
  • Meeting Key Performance Indicators.
  • Generating new business leads whilst still managing existing accounts.
  • Getting involved with site audits, appraisals and training of staff as and when required.
  • Liaising with the Health & Safety Advisors with regards to safety of workers, auditing and compliance.
  • Profits and Loss.
