Job description

Job Title: Water Treatment Equipment Installation Engineer
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Salary / Benefits: £25k – £40k + Training + Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee through to Lead

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial water softener servicing and maintenance across a mixed portfolio of sites, including both industrial and domestic.
• Undertake installations/replacements of RO, CL02, UV filtration and chemical dosing equipment.
• Carry out servicing and maintenance on water treatment equipment.
• Conduct pre‑work risk assessments.
• Handle associated plumbing and pipework duties.
• Survey sites for future works.
• Respond to customer enquiries and ensure all work meets the correct timeframe.
• Adhere to relevant health and safety guidelines.
• Use site information to provide clients with detailed reports and advise on findings and rectification.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current or previous experience in the water treatment industry with an electrical bias/background.
• Excellent working knowledge of relevant health and safety guidelines.
• Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification and 17th or 18th Edition competency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
