Qualifications

Job description

Our client is a well-established and highly successful water treatment company with a large presence nationwide. Due to recent contract wins they are looking to employ an experienced and hard-working Water Treatment/Equipment Engineer based in the London area. This ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within the water treatment industry and would be able to undertake a varied range of duties, including but not limited to, closed system / cooling tower analysis and servicing of water treatment equipment. Candidates with good access to the M25 and surrounding counties will be taken into consideration.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong chemical, technical and water hygiene/water treatment background.
  • Extensive experience working in this role within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
  • Competent with cooling towers, chlorination’s, steam boilers etc.
  • Experience in the installation and servicing of water treatment equipment.
  • A good working knowledge of the water treatment industry and legislation.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning, chlorination and maintenance on both hot and cold-water systems, steam boilers and cooling towers.
  • Dealing with softeners and dosing units.
  • Cleaning/servicing of TMV’s, showerheads.
  • Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysis of water systems.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment.
  • Undertake training and mentoring of staff.
  • Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
  • Experience working on CO2 Units, softeners, RO and UV equipment.
