Job Title: Water Treatment Equipment Engineer

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Salary / Benefits: £25k – £40k + Training + Benefits

We are working with a leading Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company who are now looking for a hardworking and professional Water Treatment Equipment Engineer. You will be working across Commercial, Industrial, and Manufacturing sites carrying out the installation and replacement of reverse osmosis and CL02 systems, alongside finding faults on site and rectifying issues in a timely manner. Our client holds a strong presence across the South Yorkshire, East Midlands and M1 corridor, due to this they can offer engineers local work and a good work / life balance.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Chesterfield, Rotherham, Worksop, Doncaster, Barnsley, Scunthorpe, Mansfield, Nottingham, Derby, Beeston, Matlock, Wakefield, Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield, Keighley.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Extensive experience working for a Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company, ideally working as an Equipment Engineer.
  • Will ideally have a mechanical background.
  • Good working knowledge of industrial systems.
  • Holding an Electrical Engineering qualification as well as 17th or 18th Edition, would be beneficial to the role.
  • Will always have a professional manner while on site and liaising with clients.
The Role
  • Installing and replacing reverse osmosis, CL02 systems and UV filtration systems.
  • Carrying out Installs, servicing, and repairs on water softeners.
  • Carrying out PPM of water pumps and pre-treatment filters.
  • Installing chemical dosing equipment inside cooling towers.
  • Servicing of dosing pumps.
  • Undertaking pre-work RA’s, ensuring all paperwork is filled out correctly.
  • Ensuring onsite logbooks are updated correctly.
  • Finding faults on site and ensuring all issues are dealt with efficiently.
  • Producing detailed reports for clients.
  • Always liaising with clients in a professional manner.
  • Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety requirements.
