Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Carry out a wide range of plumbing works.
  • Monitor the client’s air and water systems, ensuring compliance with current Health and Safety legislation.
  • Perform cleaning and chlorination on hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
  • Undertake temperature monitoring, routine sampling and water-system analysis.
  • Install and maintain dosing systems.
  • Disinfect main water systems, conduct tank cleans and descales, remedial work and flushing operations.
  • Build a strong working relationship with clients.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Education

City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in plumbing

One of the leading names within the water treatment industry are presently looking to recruit a competent Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber based in and around the Newport area, with applications from Caerphilly, Cardiff, Cwmbran, Chepstow and the surrounding areas being considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in plumbing.
  • Experience in a plumbing/water‑treatment role.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office package.
  • Good working knowledge of the water‑treatment industry.
