Job Description

Our client is a leading water consultancy providing a wide range of specialised water treatment/hygiene and legionella services to clients throughout the UK. They are now seeking to recruit a skilled and committed Water Treatment Engineer to cover a variety of contracts in the Cardiff area. The ideal applicant will come from a strong water treatment background and will be accustomed to working on cooling towers and hot and cold water systems. Consideration will be given to applications from Swindon, Newport, Bristol and candidates with good access to South Wales / South West area.

Qualifications & experience

• Previous experience working in this role within the water treatment industry.
• A good working knowledge of the water treatment industry.
• Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Competent with Microsoft office package.

Duties within the Role

• Dealing with Closed Systems.
• Monitor the client’s air and water systems to ensure they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
• Carry out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
• Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
• Servicing of TMVs.
• Showerhead descaling.
• Liaise with clients on a regular basis.
