Job Title: Water Treatment Account Manager
Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.
Salary / Benefits £38k – £65k + Company Car + Bonus / Commissioning Scheme

Expanding Water Treatment business with excellent reputation in the industry. Now seeking an experienced Water Treatments Account Manager to assist their well established team in the North East; the ideal candidate will hold a proven track record managing key industrial water treatment accounts for heavy industry, manufacturing and food & beverage clients. Experience & Qualifications:
  • Proven and successful track record working as an account manager for a successful Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company.
  • Excellent knowledge of water chemistry.
  • Extensive knowledge of steam boiler, cooling tower, and closed systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  • Able to manage work in line with company and client needs.
  • Excellent communication skills via phone, email, face to face.
The Role:
  • Overseeing and managing cooling tower, steam boiler, and closed system accounts on a range of blue chip client sites across the north.
  • Securing new business through referrals, as well as identifying commercial opportunities within existing contracts and upselling remaining services.
  • Ensuring to manage workload efficiently, ensuring that existing clients are serviced while sourcing new business.
  • Providing technical training on water chemistry to new and existing staff members.
  • Working to agreed targets and budgets.
  • Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  • Undertaking site visits and client meetings.
  • Providing advice to clients on system productivity and cost effective solutions.
  • Acting as first point of contact for clients; managing own schedule and troubleshooting
