Profile

Our client is a successful water hygiene company that delivers a full range of water hygiene and treatment services across the UK. We are looking for a hardworking and competent Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber based in and around the Dartford area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within the water hygiene industry, hold NVQ/City and Guilds Level 2 and Level 3 in Plumbing, and be skilled in temperature monitoring, water sampling, TMV servicing, showerhead descales, and remedial plumbing works.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Extensive experience working in the water hygiene / water treatment industry.
  • NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 / Level 3 in Plumbing.
  • Experience delivering remedial plumbing services across a mixed range of sites.
  • Well‑versed in ACOP L8 and relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
  • Undertake analysis on closed systems and chemical dosing.
  • Carry out cleaning and chlorination on hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
  • Repair, replace, and service TMVs and showerheads.
  • Perform regular temperature monitoring, sampling, and analysis of water.
  • Maintain and install dosing systems.
  • Conduct remedial works as required.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with clients.
  • Ensure work complies with health & safety legislation and ACOP L8 guidelines.
