Job Description

Our client is a well‑established and successful water treatment/hygiene company that provides a variety of professional and high‑quality services to clients nationwide. They are now looking to employ a reliable and competent Water Treatment Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor to work on a variety of contracts in and around the Woking area. The successful candidate will undertake a split role, covering water treatment / water hygiene and risk‑assessing duties across a varied site base. Applications from candidates in Guildford, Bracknell, Croydon, Epsom, and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience
  • Ideally hold the City & Guilds or Water Management Society (WMS) legionella qualification.
  • Considered for those with a minimum of Legionella Risk Assessing experience, willing to train.
  • Relevant experience in this role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office package.
  • Good working knowledge of the water treatment industry.
  • Ideally hold a City & Guilds or WMSO legionella risk assessor qualification.
Role
  • Undertake legionella risk assessments.
  • Monitor the client’s air and water systems to ensure compliance with current Health & Safety legislation.
  • Carry out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination of hot and cold‑water systems and cooling towers.
  • Undertake temperature monitoring, routine sampling, analyse water systems and interpret results.
  • Install and maintain dosing systems.
  • Perform legionella and TVC sampling.
  • Service TMVs.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with clients.
