Job summary

A leading company in the water treatment industry is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to cover various contracts in and around Blackpool. Responsibilities include monitoring air and water systems, conducting cleaning and disinfection, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation. Responsibilities

  • Monitor air and water systems to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
  • Carry out cleaning and disinfection on water systems and cooling towers.
  • Conduct routine sampling and analyzing of water systems.
  • Install and maintain dosing systems.
  • Inspect and disinfect Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWST).
  • Service TMVs and perform shower cleans and tank cleans.

Our client, is a leading name within the water treatment/hygiene industry and they provide a wide range of legionella, water treatment and water hygiene services to national clients. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to cover a wide variety of contracts in and around the Blackpool area. Consideration will be given to applications from Fleetwood, Kirkham, Lytham St Annes and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience working as water hygiene engineer.
  • Well versed with the water treatment industry and legislations.
  • Competent with Microsoft office package.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the client’s air and water systems to ensure they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
  • Carry out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
  • Temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analysing water systems.
  • Install and maintain dosing systems.
  • Inspection and Disinfection of CWST.
  • Servicing TMVs, shower cleans, tank cleans etc.
