Overview

We have an opportunity available for a Warehousing Administrator to join us based at our new site in Northampton. The role is a full time, permanent position working 35 hours per week Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.

Ideally, you should have previous experience in warehousing or logistics administration and be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Excel, Word & Outlook.

This is a fantastic time to join us as our Warehousing Administrator where you will provide administrative support to the warehouse operations team, ensuring accurate documentation, efficient coordination of goods movement, and compliance with company procedures.

Our ideal Warehousing Administrator will have the following skills and experience;

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics admin role (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of white goods or large item distribution (desirable)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and warehouse systems

Your key responsibilities as our Warehousing Administrator will be to;

  • Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound deliveries
  • Process delivery paperwork, including proof of delivery (POD), manifests, and returns
  • Update warehouse management systems (WMS) with stock movements and adjustments
  • Liaise with transport teams to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve discrepancies
  • Support inventory control through regular data checks and reporting
  • Assist with booking in deliveries and communicating with suppliers
  • Prepare reports for operational and performance reviews
  • Respond to internal and external queries regarding stock, deliveries, and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and data protection policies
  • Support the Warehouse Manager with administrative tasks and operational planning
