Warehouse Team Manager - Nights

Chepstow | Up to £42,000 per annum (DOE) | Permanent | Full-Time

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Night Team Manager to join a leading national logistics operation based in Chepstow.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional to take ownership of night shift operations, leading a team of operatives to ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

Key Duties

• Lead, motivate, and support the warehouse team to achieve nightly operational targets.
• Manage the flow of goods in, order picking, and dispatch operations to maintain service excellence.
• Deliver effective team training, performance reviews, and ongoing development.
• Monitor performance and ensure all processes comply with company policies and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with transport, stock control, and customer service to maintain seamless operations.
• Maintain a safe working environment, promoting and enforcing best practice.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and productivity.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading teams within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment (experience in foodservice or FMCG advantageous).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and modern warehouse operations.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and compliance standards.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and meet operational demands.
