Job summary

A leading logistics provider in Worksop is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage warehouse operations, ensuring effective communication and leadership among staff. You will oversee the operational KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Strong IT skills and experience in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £29,046 per annum plus benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report upon the work activities of the warehouse operatives, providing effective communication, leadership, succession planning, motivation, training and development
  • Support the FLMs in achieving the warehouse/transport operational KPIs and service levels, whilst driving improvement initiatives across the site
  • Manage and own all elements of the admin, stock and systems processes, being the point of contact for issues, and finding resolutions
  • Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Be a natural leader, able to coach others to drive and implement change
  • Experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan and organise a warehouse operation
  • Strong IT skills, including warehouse systems and Microsoft Office

  • This is a full time, permanent position, working Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 - 06:00
