Job description
Overview

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader that can lead from the front. Based at our state of the art, purpose-built site in Northampton. You will be responsible for ensuring all colleagues within the team are trained in their respective tasks, adhering to QHSE rules and procedures whilst meeting or exceeding operational requirements within the contract.

We have a full-time, permanent position working Monday – Friday between the hours of 15:00 – 23:00.

  • Team management: developing, leading and motivating your people to achieve challenging operational KPIs
  • You’ll lead the team on health & safety, showing good working practices, as you’ll be responsible for keeping all of our operational processes fully compliant whilst keeping your people safe
  • You’ll actively manage your available resource, and utilise staff where possible
  • Maintain a constant presence within the warehouse delivering shift briefs and preparing handovers
Qualifications
  • Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG, automation and multi-channel
  • Experience of working to agreed targets and managing a small team
  • Well-versed in warehouse management systems
  • Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
