Job summary

A large engineering company in Greenwich is seeking a Warehouse Picker for an ongoing contract. The role involves efficient stock handling in a busy warehouse, ensuring accurate receipt and picking of stock, and maintaining safety standards. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and able to work within a team. Hours are from Monday to Friday, with a competitive pay of £11.62 per hour.

Warehouse Picker

Greenwich, SE10

Ongoing Contract

£11.62 p/h

42.5 hours per week

Working in a busy warehouse & manufacturing preparation area, for a large engineering company ensuring efficient, safe and accurate handling of stock.

These roles offer an opportunity to join a world renowned company, who are specialists in their field.

As a warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for;

  • Receipting and checking incoming stock in line with the company “goods in process”, ensuring all ESD, Temperature controlled product disciplines are adhered to and products are correctly located within the warehouse.
  • Pick production orders as per company processes, undertaking all necessary controls and ensuring 100% picking accuracy.
  • Assist with regular and spot stock takes as required.
  • Ensure all stock is stored, handled and transported securely and in line with company procedures.
  • Provide a professional, courteous and efficient service to our internal customers.
  • Work with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.
HOURS OF WORK

The successful Warehouse Operator will be required to work the following hours;

Monday - Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm

Friday: 7:30am - 3:45pm
