Job description
Responsibilities
  • Receive raw materials on site, sort correctly, and retrieve according to the business requirements.
  • Work proactively as part of a cross‑functional team.
  • Receive and book in raw materials.
  • Locate raw materials in both Gate 1 and Gate 2 warehouses as required.
  • Process and load Baxter goods and raw materials for dispatch.
  • Support day‑to‑day running of warehouse duties.
  • Learn various jobs in the warehouse and packing areas to support the business.
  • Work on own initiative as and when required.
  • Assist routine blind count audits.
  • Perform regular routine cleaning tasks on the fork‑truck fleet and the work area to ensure they remain clean at all times.
  • Comply with EHS/GMP/GDP company & corporate policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Provide coverage for colleagues.
  • Notify Quality Assurance and Process Leading hands of any deviations from the process.
  • Place orders where needed for raw material and items required for production.
  • Replenish stock locations when needed.
  • Complete internal training when required.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a warehouse environment is an advantage.
  • Experience using Stand‑On Electric Pallet Truck is an advantage.
  • Experience using warehouse inventory systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reasonable computer skills – MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Team player able to work under instruction and on own initiative, following instructions diligently.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • English and Mathematics GCSE or equivalent.
  • Quick learner who adapts well to change, displaying a high level of situational adaptability.
