Basic Salary of 34599 plus UHP plus a great range of benefits

19 : 00-4 : 30am Sunday to Thursday with 1 in 4 Fridays

Responsibilities

Join our friendly team in Eastleigh as a Night shift Warehouse Operative / Shunter and enjoy a varied active role where no two shifts are the is your chance to join a market leader in food distributionBrakes (a Sysco Company) where youll get job security ongoing training and real opportunities to grow your career all within a welcoming team that treats you like family.

Youll spend around 80% of your time working in the warehouse and the rest of your shift taking care of on-site vehicle the warehouse youll be picking and checking a mix of ambient chilled and frozen food items using roll cages PPTs and handheld scanners to prepare stock for delivery and manage the flow of goods in and out of the shunter side of your role will keep you close to the action. Youll be responsible for moving our 14T 18T and 26T multi-temperature vehicles around site setting and monitoring fridge / freezer temperatures and reporting any vehicle defects. Youll play a key part in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Qualifications

You’ll receive a full induction and tailored training plan including slow manoeuvring practice so you’ll feel confident and supported from day succeed in this role you’ll need a valid HGV driving licence and be comfortable lifting up to 25kg as part of your day-to-day tasks. You’ll also need your own transport to get to the depot. A good eye for detail strong spatial awareness and the ability to stay calm under pressure will help you thrive in this busy but rewarding environment.
