Overview

The Best Connection are proud to be partnering with our client a leading world food distributor and are recruiting for Rework/Warehouse Operatives for their Biggleswade site.

This is a great opportunity working with a friendly team and will involve working as part of a team to achieve dispatch targets

Requirements

Requirements of the Production Operative:

• Follow all health and Safety protocol at all times, reporting any issues to the management team
• Be reliable and friendly with a can-do attitude
• Pick, pack and unwrap items - relabelling stock to schedule
• Candidates should live locally or have reliable transport to commute to the location
• Must be able to commute to the site in Biggleswade due to location
• Carry out tasks that involve manual handling - light lifting duties
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse to meet targets

Duties include

• Unpacking and labelling boxes
• Labelling the item inside before re-sealing the box.
• Organising the internal products onto pallets
• Occasional use of the heat wrapping machine that is used on certain products - training will be given
• General warehouse duties
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
• Have an interest in working in Industrial Food production and work collaboratively with colleagues at all times.
