A leading luxury department store is seeking Warehouse Operatives for various temporary roles at their Thatcham Distribution Centre during the Christmas season. Responsibilities include receiving and sorting stock, supporting recycling programs, and warehouse administration. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Warehouse Operative – Various Roles – Christmas Temp. Our Distribution team is looking for Warehouse Operatives to join us at our Thatcham site for the high season during the Christmas period. These temporary roles will run for two months between October and January.
In this role, you will play an essential part in the daily operations of our Distribution Centre. There are multiple roles available, including Warehouse Operative, Site Services, Transportation, and Warehouse Administration. Roles will be allocated based on your interests and the best fit. You will ensure high standards and efficiencies are maintained as the volume of stock moving in and out of the warehouse increases. Some roles have more of an administrative focus, while others are more physical.
Your key responsibilities, depending on the role, will include:
All roles are based at our Distribution Centre, a modern, clean, and welcoming facility designed to support an efficient and collaborative working environment. Many roles are hands-on and physically active, involving standing, walking long distances, and safely lifting and moving products up to 23 kg. On average, you will complete around 20,000 steps a day.
