Overview

FREEZER WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE = EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL

Warehouse Operatives to join a fast-paced distribution centre in Radcliffe, working in freezer environment. You will be responsible for picking goods for supermarkets using handheld scanners, EPTs (Electric Pallet Trucks), and roll cages.

This is a physically demanding role, ideal for candidates who are comfortable working in FREEZER environment and performing tasks that require a high level of activity, including walking up to 25,000 steps per shift and lifting heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing supermarket products using hand scanners
• Operating EPTs and pump trucks
• Loading goods into roll cages
• Working in freezer areas
• Meeting performance and accuracy targets
• Following all health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience in a similar environment is essential
• Comfortable working in cold temperatures (freezer conditions)
• Physically fit and able to handle a fast-paced role
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills (tests will be conducted during the application process)
• Must be able to pass a drugs and alcohol test
• Availability to complete a full 5-day induction
• Ability to attend and complete health and safety and written assessments
• Willing to work weekends and do overtime if required
