Job summary

A leading employment agency is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Wincanton. This full-time role involves receiving and sorting goods, picking and packing orders, and maintaining a safe working environment. Warehouse Operative

Location: Wincanton BA9 9DT

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Hourly Rate: £12.21

Working Hours: Monday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM , Tuesday to Friday 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and sort incoming goods
• Pick and pack orders accurately
• Load and unload products using standard warehouse equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow all health & safety procedures
• Update stock records and inventory systems when required

Requirements

• Ability to work efficiently with good attention to detail
• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting moderate weights
• Previous warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong reliability and punctuality
• Ability to work in a cold environment, PPE will be provided
