As a Warehouse Operative./Driver based in Stockton-on-Tees, you will be responsible for:

• Working within the warehouse - (This will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets)
• Goods in - Receive, check, and store incoming stock accurately and safely and update the system
• Goods out - Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders in line with company procedures
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety in the branch
• Serving customers on the trade counter and via phone and email by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations
• Driving a 3.5T vehicle to make deliveries to customers (This will involve manual handling heavy stock)

This is a permanent position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday between 07:30am - 5:00pm and Saturday on a rota basis 08:00am - 12:00pm.

Qualifications:

• A full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential
• Warehouse experience - a forklift licence is desirable
• To be comfortable with lifting heavy items
• Confidence to interact with customers
• Dependable, hardworking team player who is open to learning to support in all areas of the branch
