Overview

Warehouse Operative – Preston (PR5)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in Preston (PR5) for Warehouse Operatives. This is a temporary to permanent position in a busy and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading goods
• Labeling and preparing stock
• General warehouse tasks
• Keeping the work area clean and organised
• Transferring stock to correct locations using a forklift truck (if licensed)
• Assisting with the production and dispatch of customer orders
• Operating machinery (after appropriate training)
• Being flexible and adaptable to meet changing operational needs

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay Rate

£13.50 per hour

What We’re Looking For

• Previous warehouse experience (preferred but not essential)
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Strong attention to detail
• A proactive and reliable work ethic
• FLT / Counterbalance licence – desirable but not essential
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
