WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, driven and self-motivated Warehouse Operative to join a leading distributor at their site in Burscough.

Key responsibilities of Warehouse Operative:

  • Fully responsible for dispatching of packed product to customers using FLT's.
  • Booking in all deliveries in accordance with company standards.
  • Carry out monthly stock takes.
  • Liaise with delivery drivers and courier companies.
  • Ensuring loading is completed in a timely manner to ensure that the products get to the customers on time.
  • Maintaining H&S and housekeeping standards in the warehouse.

Key Requirements for the successful candidate:

  • Ability to work well as part of a small team.
  • Have experience working within a warehouse role.
  • Excellent communication skills - Able to communicate between team, other departments and management.
  • Clear understanding and appreciation of health and safety procedures
  • FLT Licence
