Job summary

A leading commercial vehicle provider in Wales is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to manage daily operations in the Parts Department. In this role, you will ensure efficient stock flow, accurate inventory management, and timely dispatch of parts to serve both internal and external customers. Candidates should have proven experience in warehouse settings, particularly in the automotive or truck industry, and strong leadership skills. This is a hands-on position where prioritizing tasks and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or parts environment (automotive/truck industry preferred).
  • Good working knowledge of inventory/warehouse systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong leadership skills and a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.

  • Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
  • Oversee goods receiving, picking, packing, dispatching, and stock movements.
  • Coordinate with Spare Parts and Workshop teams to prioritize urgent orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in regular stocktakes.

We are seeking a passionate and hands‑on Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations in our Parts Department. This role ensures the smooth flow of stock, accurate inventory management, and timely dispatch of parts to support both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day‑to‑day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety
  • Oversee goods receiving, picking, packing, dispatching, and stock movements
  • Coordinate with the Spare Parts and Workshop teams to prioritise urgent orders
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in regular stocktakes
  • Monitor and manage warehouse layout, cleanliness, and stock organisation
  • Supervise and support warehouse staff to meet operational targets
  • Ensure all deliveries and dispatches are completed in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain OH&S standards and ensure compliance with warehouse procedures
What You Bring
