Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator on a 6 month rolling contract, located Canwick.
Role Summary
- Obtain and record shipping quotes for cost saving analysis
- Approve transport costs up to the value of £25k.
- Working alongside the EC and Customs teams to ensure that all processes remain fully compliant.
- Report any Customs related issue including requests for information immediately to Customs Professional.
- Manage the team mailbox, responding to emails both professionally and informatively in a timely manner.
- Collate and digitally store Notes of Despatch into the SAP shipment for proof of collection.
- Collate and digitally store AWB's into the SAP shipment for records.
- Responsible for arranging & managing UK SGT manual shipments.
- Responsible for arranging & managing SGT UK shipments (non-haz) based on the requirements from the daily shipping list along.
- Facilitate packing and despatch activities for new unit project shipments.
- Coordinate delivery and shipment creation for new unit project shipments.
- Responsible for arranging & managing UK SGT manual shipments from Customers/Suppliers.
- Collate and digitally store WayBills into the SAP shipment or manual folder for records.
- Collate and digitally store relevant S8, CDS or T1 into the SAP shipment or manual folder for records.
- Collate and digitally store relevant C88, SAD3 or EAD into the SAP shipment or manual folder for records.
- Responsible for maintaining the export registers.
- Export entries to be receipted and validated within 30 days of the shipment.
- Record issues relating to shipping agent/freight forwarder to be escalated to the Indirect Purchasing Team.
- Understand the implications of the different Incoterms and be able to advise the most suitable to be used per business circumstance.
- Responsible for arranging & managing SGT ROW shipments (non-haz) based on the requirements from the daily shipping list along (Outbound).
- Responsible for arranging & managing SGT UK engine shipments (Outbound).
- Coordinate with compliance the customs clearance process for engines, parts and tooling returning from ROW in a timely manner, avoiding demurrage costs.
- Import entries to be receipted and validated within 30 days of the shipment.
- Responsible for ensuring that the Engine Cycle Time Visualisation (CTV) is updated with accurate recording of import/export dates.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and work with the Warehouse and Shipping Supervisor in implementing the improvement.
- Provide shipping information when requested from other users in the business and be able to offer positive solutions to issues that may arise.
- Attend cross-functional meetings upon request and provide support to improve processes.
- Participate in projects utilising shipping knowledge.
- Production and validation of the Goods Accompanying Invoice (GAI) (Outbound)
Requirements
- Strong administrative skills and working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
- Strong communicator both written and verbally.
- Highly organised individual with attention to detail and must be a good team player.
- SAP experience desirable
- Worked in a warehouse or factory background with 3 to 5 years experience
