Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work with the existing teams on Farries Ward. The role involves working alongside our nursing team to help deliver high quality care. Past experience in a similar role would be desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Work directly for the Ward Managers and provide operational and administrative support to help the wards run as effectively as possible.
  • Support the Ward Managers in managing and scheduling the team\'s work patterns, meeting schedules, notes, minutes and actions, project coordination, and helping plan and deliver investigations.
  • Support staff related processes such as sickness absence management, annual leave and team rostering.
  • Provide operational and administrative support in a responsive way that contributes to the effectiveness of the Ward Managers\' roles.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Background in administration, business management or project coordination.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills and the ability to plan, prioritise, manage time and solve problems effectively.
  • Understanding of the clinical patient journey.
