Position: Waking Night Support Worker

Location: Hackney, E9 London

Hours: 35 contracted hours per week (Mon-Sun, including weekends, days and holidays)

Salary: £25,274.86 per annum (£13.85 p/h)

Advance are looking for Waking Night Support Workers in Hackney, E9 London to support customers with learning disabilities/ autism/ complex needs/ mental health conditions to live the lives they choose. Waking Night Activities
  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required)
  • Ensuring the premises are secure and safe during the night
  • Supporting with meal times and food preparation (if required)
  • Medication administration (if required)
  • Support with independent skills
  • Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required
  • Keeping up to date with your training
  • Supporting with regular checks on the customer to ensure their safety
  • Supporting with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry

About the candidate

  • Able to work every other weekends
  • Able to work between 7am and 10:30pm
  • Ability to follow a Support Plan and Risk Assessments and maintain customer records
  • Need to be literate and numerate in English
  • Willingness and ability to achieve the Care Certificate
