Overview

Join Our Team as a Waking Night Care Assistant! Do you have a caring heart and a calm, reassuring presence? We’re looking for compassionate people to make nights safer and more comfortable for our residents.

The Role
  • Hours: 8:00pm – 7:00am

  • Location: Alton

  • Pay: Enhanced pay for nights

As a Waking Night Care Assistant, you’ll stay awake and alert throughout the night, ensuring our residents receive the care and reassurance they need.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Provide personal care and overnight support

  • Carry out regular safety and wellbeing checks

  • Respond promptly to requests for assistance

  • Keep accurate records and handover notes for day staff

  • Maintain a calm, homely environment while respecting privacy and dignity

  • A caring, patient and reliable nature

  • Ability to stay focused and alert throughout night shifts

  • Previous care experience (Full training provided)
