Location: Barnet Supported Living Services

Salary & Hours:

  • £12.71 per hour
  • 30 or 40 hours per week on a rota

The Role: We provide individuals with practical and emotional care, enabling them to live as full a life as possible. You will work flexible shifts, including bank holidays, weekends, and potential sleep-ins.

Main Duties:

  • Implement individual support plans and activities
  • Maintain effective communication with service users, families, and colleagues
  • Support service users with meals, laundry, cleaning, and social events
  • Maintain accurate notes and records
  • Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care
  • Support young adults with learning disabilities, mental health issues, behavioural difficulties, autism, and physical disabilities

Personal Characteristics:

  • Diploma in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards one)
  • Experience supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, or mental health needs
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Confidence to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion for working with vulnerable adults
  • Commitment to safeguarding and high standards of care
