About The Peligoni Club

The Peligoni Club is a family‑run members club on the beautiful island of Zakynthos, Greece. Food and drink are central to the guest experience, and our four restaurants each bring something unique to the atmosphere of the club :

  • The Terraces – fire‑cooked Eastern Mediterranean dishes for lunch and dinner
  • Tasi – relaxed sea‑view breakfasts and bistro‑style lunches
  • Mikro Nisi – our modern Greek fish taverna
  • The Deli Kitchen – an evolving concept offering fresh Italian style dishes, salads, bakery items and grab‑and‑go options

Across the week we also host a lively calendar of events including open fire feasts, food festival nights, guest chef dinners, live music and private celebrations – all of which require warm, polished and confident service.

About the Role

We’re looking for versatile, energetic and guest‑focused Waiting Staff to work across all four restaurants and support our busy events schedule. You’ll bring personality and professionalism to every shift, confidently manage your own section, and help deliver the relaxed yet polished experience The Peligoni Club is known for.

This role is ideal for those who enjoy variety – breakfast service overlooking the sea, buzzing lunches, lively dinners and atmospheric outdoor events. Barista skills and bar experience are a definite bonus, as you’ll sometimes support coffee service and straightforward drinks service depending on the shift and restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly and build friendly, professional relationships.
  • Work across all restaurants as needed, adapting to different menus and service styles.
  • Manage your own section confidently during busy services.
  • Explain menus and provide informed food and wine recommendations.
  • Take orders accurately and communicate clearly with kitchen and bar teams.
  • Support drinks service, including preparing coffees and simple bar drinks when required.
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently with warmth and confidence.
  • Understand dietary requirements and communicate allergies accurately.
  • Maintain clean, organised and inviting dining spaces.
  • Prepare bills, handle payments and use EPOS systems confidently.
  • Support weekly club events, from family feasts to weddings and guest chef evenings.
  • Talk confidently about the club and guide guests through what’s on offer.
  • Take on additional duties to support smooth club operations.
About You

  • Energetic, enthusiastic and committed to excellent guest experience.
  • Proud of delivering polished, attentive service.
  • Bonus: experienced as a barista or with basic bar skills.
Essential Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a busy restaurant.
  • EPOS experience and confident cash handling.
  • Barista training and / or bar experience (desirable).
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (required)
  • EU passport holder.
