With a mandate spanning utility‑scale solar, wind, storage, and emerging low‑carbon technologies, the team supports developers, investors, and IPPs in securing competitive financing for projects across the UK, Europe, and global growth markets. Their work sits at the centre of accelerating sustainable infrastructure through robust, innovative capital structuring.

The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President – Debt Advisory to join the London team. This is a senior leadership and execution role, responsible for originating, structuring, and negotiating non‑recourse and hybrid debt facilities for clean energy and infrastructure clients. The ideal candidate will bring deep lender relationships, strong technical understanding of project financing, and the ability to drive transactions from mandate through to financial close.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the structuring and execution of debt financing solutions for renewable energy and energy‑transition projects.
  • Manage full transaction workstreams including modelling oversight, lender negotiations, term sheet development, due diligence coordination, and credit approvals.
  • Advise clients on funding strategies, capital structures, market trends, and bankability considerations for solar, wind, storage, and emerging technologies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with commercial banks, DFIs, institutional lenders, and credit funds active in the clean energy space.
  • Prepare and present financing strategies, credit materials, and transaction updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with technical, legal, commercial, and ESG specialists to validate assumptions and ensure alignment with lender requirements.
  • Contribute to business development through origination support, pitch materials, and strategic client engagement.
  • Mentor junior team members and support the continuous development of best‑practice methodologies.
About You
  • 8–12+ years’ experience in project finance, debt advisory, infrastructure lending, or structured finance, ideally with a focus on renewable energy.
  • Proven success executing non‑recourse debt transactions, including bank financing, project bonds, and hybrid/structured instruments.
  • Strong relationships with lenders active in energy and infrastructure markets.
  • Advanced financial modelling literacy and familiarity with the commercial, technical, and contractual drivers of project bankability.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and client‑facing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex transactions with tight timelines.
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline; CFA/MBA advantageous.
  • Genuine commitment to the clean energy transition and sustainable infrastructure finance.
Why Join?
  • Play a leading role in shaping financing solutions for next‑generation renewable and low‑carbon projects.
  • Work within a high‑calibre advisory team recognised for expertise in energy and infrastructure finance.
  • Opportunity to influence strategic financing decisions across global markets.
  • Competitive compensation package with long‑term growth potential.
