Volunteer Engagement Manager

You'll develop and deliver our volunteer strategy, launch our new Volunteering Hub, create a consistent induction and training framework, and work with teams across the organisation to ensure volunteers feel valued, welcomed and equipped for their roles. You'll also design recruitment campaigns, manage safer recruitment processes, and develop meaningful reward and recognition approaches.

Age UK Wyvern is expanding its volunteering offer, and we're looking for a motivated Volunteer Engagement Manager to lead the way. Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do, and this role will shape how we recruit, induct, support and celebrate them.

Qualifications
  • Has experience in volunteer engagement
  • Is an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills
  • Can manage changing priorities and handle challenging situations
  • Is confident using IT and analysing data
  • Understands safeguarding and volunteer-related legislation
  • Holds a full driving licence and can travel across the region
  • Experience in the charity sector, delivering training, using volunteer management systems and knowledge of older people's needs is desirable
