Job summary

A leading telecommunications company is seeking a Technical Project Engineer to oversee project delivery and maintain the SPEN telecoms network across Scotland. This position involves strategic planning for installations, providing technical support, and requires travel across the region. Join our Vodafone Business Technology Solutions team, where we support businesses of all sizes with world‑class technology solutions. We design and develop our Fixed Line solutions, drive efficiency through automation and AI, and implement it all directly with our customers.

What you’ll do

As a technical Project Engineer, you will be part of a team who are responsible for the successful delivery of various projects and the maintenance of the SPEN telecoms network across Scotland.

You will be involved in the strategic planning and delivery of installation and commissioning projects. Working alongside the field, project and network operation teams, you will also provide technical representation at customer meetings and complete end‑of‑job documentation to an excellent standard.

The role requires travel across Scotland so you will require a full driving licence and may have to work away from home occasionally.

Your role will be to support the project and senior project managers aligned to the SPEN account with scoping, preparing, planning, implementing and delivering technical projects of varying scale, complexity and technology.
