Job summary

A prominent recruitment agency is looking for an Interim Video Producer within a leading university in London. The role involves producing and post-producing video messages, managing AV equipment, and collaborating with internal stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have strong experience with digital media, including advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud. This part-time position requires 2.5 days per week, starting ASAP, offering a day rate role with on-campus responsibilities each week in Central London.

Job Description
  • Produce and post-produce video messages for the President and Senior Management (filming, editing, graphics, captions).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop creative briefs, objectives, audiences and messaging.
  • Edit professional-quality audio and video using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop).
  • Set up, operate and maintain professional AV equipment (cameras, audio, lighting and studio systems).
  • Create platform-specific content for social media, web, events and conferences.
  • Contribute to planning and delivery of high-impact video and audio projects of strategic importance to the organisation.
  • Manage workloads, schedules and provide regular progress updates.
  • Advise and support stakeholders at all levels on audio and video production.
  • Ensure content aligns with the organisation's brand identity and key messages.
  • Identify content gaps, storytelling opportunities and emerging digital trends.
  • Maintain organised digital content archives and documented workflows.
The Successful Applicant
  • Strong experience producing digital video and audio content.
  • Proven filmmaking experience with Sony A7 and broadcast cameras.
  • Advanced use of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud (including After Effects), plus standard office software.
  • Solid knowledge of audio recording techniques, including multitrack podcast production.
  • Experience delivering complex, high-impact video and audio projects for multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in motion graphics and animation using After Effects or similar software (desirable).
  • Knowledge of professional studio systems with the ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support.
