Job description

Financial Markets Department covers both trading book and banking book activities for Bank of China London Branch and Bank of China (UK) Limited. As a Vice President – CCP Product Management, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end process of CCP and lifecycle management including but not limited to product development and cross‑functional coordination. You will ensure that CCP product and associated processes adhere to regulatory compliance and are in line with internal requirements. This is a full‑time permanent position.

Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for the development of CCP product strategy according to the Bank's overall strategy
  • Be responsible for the design of the end‑to‑end process of CCP and lifecycle management including product launch, developing marketing strategies, monitoring product performance, post‑launch analysis and recommending product improvements and enhancements
  • Facilitate clear and efficient communication across functions to ensure the smooth operations of CCP business, resolve issues promptly and enhance product competitiveness continuously
  • Be responsible for risk management throughout the product lifecycle of CCP and ensure the risk control measures are implemented properly to mitigate risk
  • Assist in market promotion of CCP products including training for internal and external stakeholders
  • Be responsible for CCP business data analysis and ongoing system upgrade
  • Conduct regular business analysis and report as required by Head Office or Management, Assistant Vice President, Financial Crime and Compliance, Rita Cobbold
Qualifications
  • Degree level educated in Banking, Finance, Economics, Accounting or other relevant subject
  • Solid experience in CCP in Banking
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and product management
  • Solid knowledge of financial markets derivative products
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance
  • Strategy oriented with ability to multi‑task
  • Desire to drive projects from ideation or assignment to execution
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in Mandarin is preferred
  • Good problem‑solving skills
  • Capacity to work in a fast‑paced environment
