A leading financial services company based in the City of Westminster is seeking an Identity Management Specialist to lead initiatives in support of the Active Directory platform, both on-premise and in Azure. The role involves managing incidents, providing technical guidance, and ensuring service health. Candidates should have strong skills in Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD, with experience in a large global organization. Strong communication skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Corporate Technology is responsible for the operation, development and support of all applications across all areas of the business. Corporate Technology ensures IT strategy, architecture and solutions are aligned to business requirements. Within Corporate Technology, the Infrastructure group manages the day‑to‑day running of the technologies that underpin the business systems and focused teams within this portfolio manage the day‑to‑day health, support and future direction of each specialist area.
Main Purpose of the Role: An exciting opportunity is available to join this group as an Identity Management Specialist, who will report to the team lead and provide the technical capability to support the creation of a strategic direction for the Identity Management domain and associated tool set, together with supporting and maintaining overall service health and vendor management. The focus is on MS Active Directory and related technologies, with the Authentication Services team handling day‑to‑day management of the AD platform on premise and Azure AD, technical documentation, maintenance of platform standards and planning of technical direction and strategy.
Functional/Technical Skills and Knowledge requirements – Essential:
Preferred:
• Degree (preferable in technology);
• Work experience in financial services (bonus);
• Experience of financial regulations, compliance and standards;
• Must have experience of supporting a global organisation (10,000+ users).
Desirable: managerial/supervisory experience within or of an authentication services team, proactive and self‑managing approach, ability to empower and inspire team members, examples of going above and beyond core duties, ability to future‑plan and set team strategy.
