The role offers structured workdays, no routine out-of-hours (OOH), and a salary range of £35,000 to £70,000 depending on experience. Veterinary Surgeon – Kidderminster

The practice operates from purpose‑built premises with exceptional facilities, including separate dog and cat wards, four consulting rooms, digital x‑ray (including dental x‑ray), high quality ultrasound with Doppler, in‑house lab, endoscope, optic loop, Tonovet pen, cautery, and laser therapy. The supportive and inclusive environment offers an excellent platform to work with a varied caseload, ensuring every day brings something new.
You’ll have the support of a dedicated mentor as you settle in, with full encouragement to develop your skills and pursue areas of interest. With no routine OOHs, you’ll enjoy a healthy work‑life balance; however, if emergency care excites you, joining the OOH rota can be arranged.
You’ll be part of a collaborative and experienced clinical team, complemented by a brilliant admin and reception team who keep everything running smoothly. Days are structured to include consulting, surgery, medical cases, and inpatient care, with designated operating days and time built in for complex cases that require teamwork.
