A veterinary practice in Hinckley is seeking an experienced vet to handle routine surgical and medical cases. The position offers competitive salaries starting at £45,000+, 4 weeks of annual leave, CPD support, and a welcoming team environment. Ideal candidates will have strong veterinary skills and the ability to foster client relationships. This full-time role includes no Sunday or OOH work.
If you are looking for an exciting new role and the opportunity to grow your career, then we have the perfect role for you here at Hinckley Vets4Pets!
About you and the role:
We are seeking an experienced vet who is confident with routine surgical and medical cases; an interest in orthopaedics is advantageous but not essential. You should be eager to support and demonstrate key skills such as building strong relationships with clients, patients, and the team.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, working between 8.30am-8pm over a 4-day week with a set day off. Saturdays are mornings only (9am - 2.30pm) on a 1 in 4 basis.
About us:
You will work alongside Practice Owners Nicola Gray and Ignacio Martinez Robles, Practice Manager, and a friendly team of 5 Vets and 2 clinical lead nurses supporting RVNs and student nurses.
Our practice is located inside a busy Pets at Home store in town, with free onsite parking, a nearby train station, easy access to the M1, and close to East Midlands and Birmingham airports.
We are a small animal practice with a high caseload of exotics. The modern, spacious practice is equipped with digital X-ray, in-house laboratory, ultrasound, and multi-parameter monitors. You will have clinical freedom, and orthopaedic cases are mentored by a visiting referral vet.
