A veterinary group is seeking a friendly and experienced Veterinary Receptionist in Addlestone. The role involves greeting clients, managing bookings, and handling payments in a busy environment. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills and experience in a veterinary setting. We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team covering 40 hours per week, starting from December 2025. Suppose you have a passion for customer service, experience in a veterinary reception, and are keen to make a difference in a busy veterinary environment. In that case, we’d love to hear from you! You will have the opportunity to work across our fantastic practices, mostly a mix of Lynton Vets Horsell and Spinney Hill Addlestone, with occasional cover at Windlebrook Bagshot.
In this role, you will be responsible for greeting and interacting with clients in a welcoming and professional manner, ensuring that every visit is a positive experience. You will manage appointment bookings, handle queries, and take payments, while also dispensing medication and assisting with general administrative tasks. Additionally, you will be required to handle account queries, chase outstanding debt, and manage payments, as well as complete end-of-day banking and monitor petty cash records. You will also support the team with any other administrative tasks as required by the Head Receptionist, Practice Manager, or Clinical Director will also be part of your duties.

As a progressive practice, we recently relocated to our brand new, purpose-built practice in Woking, and continue to invest in refurbishing and equipping our other 2 practices to the same high standard. The practice maintains state-of-the-art clinical equipment, such as dental radiography, Virtual Veterinary equipment (VVS), ultrasound scanners, anaesthetic multiparameter and patient warming equipment. We also have a purpose-built grooming salon at our main site. We have a loyal client base and a gold standard reputation across the local community. We have great transport links to London and the beauty and history of Surrey on our doorstep, ready to explore.
Our 6 Veterinary Surgeons are supported by a great team of 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses, 4 ANAs and experienced Receptionists across the Group. We have a family-like culture in practice and have embedded a truly supportive and encouraging ethos amongst the team. Each practice has an essential SOS chocolate station, and we are never short of cake with some excellent bakers across the group! Mental and physical well-being of the team is paramount to us.
You will work 40 hours per week with shifts between the hours of 8 am and 9 : 30 pm, with Saturdays on a rota.
