A leading veterinary organization in Staines-upon-Thames is looking for a Veterinary Nurse for a weekend position with responsibilities in triage, surgery, and critical care. The ideal candidate will have at least six months of RCVS registration and a passion for animal care. Understanding your key role

Our nursing team are at the core of clinical treatment including triage, surgery, anaesthesia, and in-patient care. Key responsibilities will include:

  • First Aid - give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.
  • Critical Care - management and monitoring of major body systems, monitoring of in-patient trends and identifying changes quickly, physiotherapy, pain assessment, wound and dressing care.
  • Diagnostics - confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.
Key requirements
  • RCVS registered for a minimum of six months.
  • Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
  • Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
  • Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.
